About this Event

Apparel is furiously working to clean up what had been a terribly polluting, resource intensive industry. And that’s a good thing. The challenge, however, is it’s impossible to quantify progress without traceability. So, for all of the good intentions, the industry is still largely incapable of verifying where goods are made and that inputs meet these new environmentally responsible standards. Without that assurance, companies are left vulnerable in today’s callout culture.

Join Sourcing Journal on March 24 at 11 am EST to discuss how to build trust through a traceable supply chain.

This webinar will unpack:

  • the reputational damage lurking in opaque supply chains
  • the benefits and limitations of certifications and standards
  • how to enlist consumers in the call for greater visibility into the supply chain
  • the latest innovations that aim to make traceability more reliable

Speakers:

  • Ben Mead, Managing Director, Hohenstein Institute America
  • MeiLin Wan, Vice President, Textile Sales, Applied DNA Sciences
  • Rodger Glaspey, Managing Director, Louis Dreyfus Company
  • Caletha Crawford, Publisher, Sourcing Journal (moderator)
