Dr. Moira Gilchrist is PMI’s Vice President, Strategic & Scientific Communications, leading a team whose job it is to translate the robust science behind the company’s smoke-free alternatives into information policymakers and the public can easily understand. She regularly engages with public health authorities, media, and decision-makers around the world, demonstrating the benefits of scientifically substantiated, smoke-free products for those adults who would otherwise continue smoking and calling for risk-proportionate regulation that affords these people accurate information about and access to these better alternatives. In short, she plays a vital role in PMI’s transition away from cigarettes and its journey toward a better, smoke-free future.
Prior to her current role, Moira held several positions within PMI, including leading the Reduced-Risk Products Corporate Affairs team, serving as director of Scientific Engagement within the R&D function, and working in both product development and commercialization. Before joining PMI in 2006, Moira worked in the pharmaceutical sector for more than a decade. She was a principal consultant within PwC’s and IBM’s pharmaceutical industry consulting groups and held positions within both industry and nonprofit organizations as a developer of drug formulations.
Moira holds a degree in Pharmacy and a PhD in Pharmaceutical Sciences, both from the University of Strathclyde in Glasgow, Scotland.

Currently, Aaron is the Senior Director of Editorial Technology for Penske Media Corporation, where he supports the editorial and business teams on over 20 brands including Rolling Stone, Variety, and SheKnows. He is also a WordPress Core Committer that focuses on improving developer happiness and making the internet usable and enjoyable by everyone and on the board for American United Nations International. Dr. Sarah Saska is the CEO of Feminuity, a global strategy firm partnering with startups through Fortune 500 companies to build diverse teams, equitable systems, and inclusiveproducts and company cultures. Before Feminuity, Sarah led pioneering doctoral research highlighting the need for ethical and equitable approaches to designing new technologies.She speaks internationally and is a TEDx speaker, and she’s featured on CBC’s The National and Fast Company for her straightforward and actionable approach to the work.
Tania Yuki is Founder and CEO of Shareablee. Tania began her career as a media and internet attorney. After moving to the US, Tania has held roles including Head of Acquisitions and Branding at KIT Digital, VP TV Advertiser Solutions with Visible World and led product management for comScore's Video Metrix, the world's leading online video ratings service.
