Ciana Singh

My name is Ciana Singh and I have had the honor of caring for my Grandmother with Dementia for 6 years now. This journey has had its ups and downs. Every stage of this disease comes with its own set of challenges. Every day is unpredictable. In the beginning stages of caring for her I was uninformed about what Dementia even was. This made life together unnecessarily difficult and extremely challenging. After doing research and educating myself on what truly was happening to her brain, I have been able to have a more skilled approach in caring for my Grandmother. My goal with sharing my journey on social media is to show others that through getting educated and utilizing a variety of resources, caring for a loved one with Dementia can be easier and even in some ways empowering.
