Megan Manco began her skincare career in 2011, holding various positions within both research and innovation (R&I) and marketing at L’Oréal. She currently serves as Director of Professional Marketing for CeraVe, overseeing the marketing strategy across all healthcare professional audience segments. Megan has previously held positions at SkinCeuticals, and on the Advanced Research and Product Performance Evaluation teams within R&I. Megan graduated from the Fashion Institute of Technology with a Master of Professional Studies degree in Cosmetic and Fragrance Marketing Management, a Master of Science degree in Microbiology from Wagner College, and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology with a concentration in Pre-Medicine from the College of the Holy Cross.

Meredith Heiss, MS, CGC

Meredith is a board-certified genetic counselor. She recently joined Fulgent (Picture Genetics’ parent company) as a laboratory genetic counselor, where she interprets the impact of genetic variants and shares her clinical and genetics expertise with clients and members of the Fulgent team. Before joining the lab, Meredith was a clinical genetic counselor in Maternal Fetal Medicine. She counseled patients, including expecting moms with fetal ultrasound anomalies and couples with family history of genetic disease.

 

Meredith completed her Master of Science in Genetic Counseling at Northwestern University and her Bachelor of Arts with a major in psychology at Reed College. She did post-baccalaureate studies in molecular biology, genomics, and bioinformatics at University of Colorado, Denver and Harvard Extension School. As a genetic counselor, she is committed to empowerment through education, understanding, and access. She strives to advance the use of genetic information in health and disease.

Shabri Patel, MS, GC

Shabri is a member of the genetic counseling team at Fulgent Genetics (Picture’s parent lab). She joined Fulgent in the summer of 2020, after earning her Masters of Science in Genomics and Genetic Counseling at Keck Graduate Institute, and before that, her Bachelor of Science in Biology at the University of California, Riverside. Shabri consults healthcare professionals on appropriate genetic testing for patients and accurate interpretation of test results. She also generates and reviews genetic test reports, and provides education about the ethical, legal, and social implications of genomics. Shabri works with the goal of improving the lives of people with known or suspected genetic conditions and creating meaningful genetic testing experiences for all patients.

Dr. Smita Malhotra is a mother, pediatrician, author, and speaker. Dr. Theresa Cerulli

Theresa Cerulli, M.D. is a graduate of Tufts University, University of Massachusetts Medical School, Harvard Longwood Residency Program in Adult Psychiatry, and Harvard Fellowships in Medical Psychiatry and Neuropsychiatry. Dr. Cerulli is Board Certified in Psychiatry and is on staff at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston.

 

She received the 1997 Harvard Residency Teaching Award and has published several journal articles in the Harvard Review of Psychiatry. Dr. Cerulli has continued in her role as a member of the Harvard Medical School faculty as a Clinical Instructor, lecturing on a range of neuropsychiatric topics including Attention Deficit Disorder, Depression and Electroconvulsive Therapy. She is a supervisor for the Harvard Longwood Residency Training Program.

 

Dr. Cerulli is theco-founder and prior Chief Medical Officer of ADD Health and Wellness Centers, specializing in the holistic treatment of children and adults with ADD/ADHD and co-existing behavioral health conditions. Her vision is in combining traditional medicine with healthy living to promote cognitive and emotional well-being. She previously served as Medical Director for the Hallowell Center and co-founder of Hallowell ADDvance. Dr. Cerulli has served nationally as an expert witness for ADHD legal cases. She is certified by the Mayor League Baseball (MLB) to conduct ADHD Therapeutic Use Exemption Evaluations for professional players.

Dr. Whitney Casares

Whitney Casares, MD, MPH, FAAP, is a board-certified pediatrician, author, speaker and full-time working mom. She’s a boots on the ground advocate for the success of women in the workplace and at home. Dr. Casares is a Stanford University-trained private practice pediatrician whose expertise spans the public health, direct patient care and media worlds. She holds a Master of Public Health in Maternal and Child Health from The University of California, Berkeley, and a Journalism degree from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo.
